PrEP Masks (Melbourne 2016)
In 2015 the VAC (Victorian Aids Council) approached me to shoot their Down And Dirty campaign for the Company of Men Exhibition in 2016. The campaign was centred around 6 themes relevant to the sexually active gay man. One of these themes was “PrEP”.
What interests me with the introduction to PrEP is the social and sexual dissociation it seems to have provoked within the community. I had two ideas of how to capture this. The first was a group of guys fucking with masks on as seen in this series.
