I was hesitant to watch this, firstly, because I wasn’t a huge fan of the second Godzilla, so I thought it could just be a crap film. Secondly, I was conflicted with me fighting me, and as Godzilla has been depicted as a villain or hero in films and Kong is only a hero I figured Kong had to win, which I wasn’t to thrilled about. King may be my alter-ego/animal but ‘Zilla is my role model, hero. Once I got wiff of a Mecha-Godzilla I knew how it was going to end. As my mate said it was my two characteristics fighting my “phone” character. (He used to complain I was always on my phone.)
It wasn’t a shit film but I wouldn’t tell you to rush out and watch it. It was entertaining enough… and for me a therapy session with my two alpha-egos in conflict in front of my eyes. (Well, three…)
