On the plane home to Australia recently I watched A Prayer Before Dawn. I had never heard of it before, but the I thought the main actor, Joe Cole is FKIN was hot and it had him sweaty and boxing in it. That was enough for me to press play. I’m also into boxing films, one thing I regret never doing when I was younger is getting into boxing, so I guess I vicariously live my fantasy of being a boxer through these films. But I didn’t know it was a story about a Billy Moore, a drug addict, and his redemption. Half way though this film I thought 2 things, it was FKIN great and I needed to show Skip it. Having been through how violent addiction affected him, and in turn affected me, i couldn’t help but get completely immersed and inspired by Billy Moores story.
